Birthday Fun

For my birthday this year Chris and I met my parents and Katie and Bella in St. George to be together for the weekend. The guys went golfing and us girls did our shopping! We also went to snow canyon to see the beautiful park and had so much fun. My dad insisted that he could still hold me on his shoulders, but I thought I was too big....guess he showed me:)

Wedding Fun

There's no place like home!

As many of my friends and family know, I lived with my parents in SLC for one month to complete an externship for school. I worked at the VA hospital doing dental hygiene and had a great experience. I saw many interesting patients and met some of the nicest people ever. I had a blast spending time with my family and friends and also had the opportunity to be apart of one of the prettiest weddings I have ever seen. My best friend Emily and her husband Tad got married on June 19th, 2009 at the Willow Creek Country Club and we had soooooo much fun. The only sad part was saying goodbye to my husband after the wedding as he had to fly back to Flagstaff and I had to complete my externship in SLC.

When the time came for me to get back home to Flagstaff I was more than ready:) I missed my husband and puppies and needed to get back to some type of normalcy in my life. I'm so glad to be home and excited to begin the last year of my dental hygiene education!

Weekend with the Bentley's

Chris and I recently went to Gilbert to stay with our friends Katie and Blair for the weekend. My friend Abby from my school class got married and we went down to the Valley for her reception. Phoenix is about two hours away, so we wanted to make it worth the trip so we decided to go boating with Katie and Blair the day before.  We went wake boarding and tubing at Lake Saguaro and it was soooo HOT! I forget how hot it gets in the Phoenix area during the summer. Good thing we had the lake to cool off in or we would have been toast! We also went to dinner and to the F1 racing factory with them and their family and had so much fun. They are such a cool family and we are so glad we got to know them better. 

MOAB!!

Spring Break is finally here...... Chris and I had the opportunity to meet our best friends Tad and Emily in Moab, UT for a weekend and it was a blast! They brought Oakley and we brought Tieg and Kona for a fun, carefree camping trip, and thats exactly what it was. Yep, Em and I roughed it in the wild for a few days and we really had so much fun. We did some 4 wheeling and went down to this little waterfall/river by potato salad with the dogs and they loved the water.  We made camp fires and cooked smores and tin foil dinners that were AMAZING! A weekend of camping with our friends was just what we needed to have the perfect break from work and school.

Sycamore Falls

Chris and I went with our friends Ben and Heidi to Sycamore Falls here in Flagstaff. We took the dogs so they could go for a swim and we all had a blast! I have to say, the best thing about Flagstaff is how beautiful it is.

Drop Him!

Chris and I had so much fun at this gorgeous waterfall. It doesn't flow year round, so you really have to go see it at the right time. We went on a warm day in February, so the snow was melting and making the river flow really good. 

Valentines Day 2009

Happy Valentine's day! Chris & I decided to celebrate one day early because he could get stuck plowing tomorrow:( We went out to dinner and it was awesome. We also exchanged gifts to each other afterwards. Chris got me a certificate to get my hair cut and colored....which I am so excited about, because he knows how I love getting my hair done. I got him some new hockey skates and he loved them! He was completely surprised and had no idea! If only I could do this good at Christmastime....

Fun Weekend

So Chris and I went to Tori and Mark's this weekend to hang out and we had so much fun....we always do. Tori and I went and saw a movie on Friday night and then on Saturday we went to the Anthem outlets near Phoenix. We had a blast shopping while the boys went to the FBR golf Tournament in Phoenix. I love spending time with my sis!

The new year 2009!

So Chris and I have lived in Flagstaff for two and a half years now and we really do love it. This year I decided to start a blog so I can keep in touch with friends and family... one of my many new years resolutions for 2009:) We are both working; Chris at Warner's Nursery and me at Horizon Dental. I am in the middle of my junior year in the dental hygiene program at Northern Arizona University, and Chris is in the construction management program at Coconino Community College. We are staying very busy, but make time for fun stuff too. We love doing things outdoors and our dogs Kona and Tieg are our babies.... for now. I am excited for the new year because that means I am one year closer to being done with school and hopefully one year closer to moving back home to Utah. I think this year is going to bring lots of fun and can't wait see where we are at this time in 2010!
